Katy Elkin

Katy Elkin is a seasoned sales leader with extensive experience in business development and corporate strategy. Currently serving as a Sales Leader at OpenAI since September 2023, Katy previously held the position of Head of Business & Corporate Development at Seegrid, where the focus was on automating industrial material handling through robotics and AI. Prior to that, Katy was VP of Business Development at Desmos, the official calculator for the digital SAT and ACT, and was integral to the company's backing by Google Ventures and subsequent acquisition in 2022. Katy's career also includes business development roles at Clever Inc., which provided secure data APIs for educational apps and was acquired by Kahoot, as well as a formative period at McKinsey & Company, where responsibilities included global market strategies and team management. Katy holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
