Rai Pokorny

Rai (Michael) Pokorny is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and artificial intelligence. Currently, Rai serves as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI, contributing to the superalignment team and previously to the reinforcement learning team. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Google, where Rai worked on the Knowledge Graph and enhanced the Android assistant infrastructure, and Director & Co-founder of the Czech Association for Effective Altruism, focusing on promoting effective altruism in the Czech Republic. Early career experiences include positions at Factorify, Dropbox, and various internships, complemented by a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in General Computer Science from Charles University.
