Vanessa Gatihi boasts extensive experience in customer success leadership, currently serving as the Head of Strategic & Majors Customer Success at OpenAI since September 2023. Prior to this role, Vanessa held multiple positions at Slack, culminating as Head of Customer Success, Portfolio Excellence, and contributed significantly to the customer success field at Narvar as a Senior Manager. Vanessa's earlier roles include Director of Customer Success at Xignite, where a first Customer Success team was built, and Professional Services Consultant at Calypso Technology. Additionally, Vanessa serves on the Advisory Board for the Customer Experience Program at San Francisco State University. An alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley, Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science.
