Yonadav Shavit

Yonadav Shavit is currently a member of the Policy Staff at OpenAI since July 2023 and a Computer Science PhD student at Harvard University since September 2018. Shavit has previously held positions as an Associate at Schmidt Futures, a Machine Learning Specialist at Upwork, and contributed to ClimateVoice as a founding team member focused on climate policy engagement. Additional experience includes research roles at Harvard University and MIT, with a focus on machine learning and robotics, as well as internships at Nest, where Shavit developed software for hardware products and contributed to sensor design. Education includes a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from MIT, with ongoing doctoral studies at Harvard.
