Astrid Poot

Astrid Poot is a versatile professional with extensive experience in creative research, educational strategy, and community engagement. Since January 2010, Astrid has operated as a denker-maker at astridpoot.nl, emphasizing the collective potential for positive change. Currently, Astrid serves as a part-time strategist for Maakplaats at OBA and participates in the steering committee for Maakplaats 021 with GoedMaken.org. Astrid holds advisory roles at Maritiem Museum Rotterdam and is an editor for a book series on Creative Research at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, Astrid has authored a book on maakonderwijs with Uitgeverij Pica and founded the organization Stiching Lekkersamenklooien to promote tool mastery among children. Astrid's expertise also encompasses writing for Bright.nl and co-owning CoChef, which fosters family cooking experiences. Past engagements include serving as a strategic advisor at Waag.
