Ruud Yap

Ruud Yap currently serves as a bestuurslid at AdamNet, a network organization comprising 34 Amsterdam libraries and heritage institutions, since March 2023. Concurrently, Ruud is the programmamanager for the Hybride Bibliotheek at Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam, focusing on integrating physical and digital services. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Nationaal Archief from August 2006 to January 2020, where Ruud held positions such as CTO, afdelingshoofd ICT, and programmamanager for the Digitaal Depot Diensten, demonstrating extensive expertise in digital services and project management. Additional roles include interim director at CBG|Centrum voor familiegeschiedenis and editorial experience with Archievenblad. Ruud Yap holds multiple degrees, including an MA in Archival Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and an MA in Contemporary History from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
