Tom Buenz

Tom Buenz has extensive work experience in sales and account management in the technology industry. Tom is currently serving as the VP of Enterprise Accounts at MeridianLink since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of VP of Enterprise Account Executive and VP of Enterprise Accounts at OpenClose Loan Origination Software from March 2019 to May 2023. From October 2017 to May 2023, they worked as a Strategic Account Manager at Ellie Mae. Before that, Tom worked as a Regional Sales Manager at Finastra from December 2012 to September 2017. In 2011, they joined Andera as a Sales professional, where they successfully ran the Midwest Division and produced contracts with 12 financial institutions in less than 6 months. Tom's career began at Mortgagebot in January 2001, where they served as a Senior Sales Executive and played a pivotal role in transforming the start-up tech provider into a leading industry player with $40M in annual revenue. During their tenure, they excelled in prospecting and securing new business, delivering product demonstrations to client executives, and presenting at industry conferences.

Tom Buenz completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Marketing from the University of Arizona from 1983 to 1986. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business and Personal/Financial Services Marketing Operations from the University of Minnesota from 1986 to 1988.
