Emily Muskovitz Sweet

VP, Social Impact at OpenComp

Emily Muskovitz Sweet has over twenty years of experience working in the public and nonprofit sector. Emily is currently the Vice President of Social Impact at OpenComp, a social impact consulting firm. Prior to their current position, Emily served as the Director of Strategic and External Affairs at the Lefkofsky Family Foundation, where they advised on philanthropic and political giving with a focus on advancing gender equity and reducing gun violence.

Emily has also served as the Executive Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council and Government Affairs at the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago and as the Executive Director of the Jewish Women's Foundation of Chicago. In their role as Program Director for the Mayor's Office on Domestic Violence, Emily worked to develop and implement programs to support survivors of domestic violence and their families.

Emily is a passionate advocate for social justice and has dedicated their career to working on behalf of marginalized communities. Emily is a skilled fundraiser, coalition builder, and policy advocate who has worked to create positive change at the local, state, and national level.

Emily Muskovitz Sweet received their Master of Arts from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration and their Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis.
