Marion Louveaux

Marion Louveaux has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a PhD student at Ecole normale supérieure de Lyon from an unspecified start date to 2015. They then served as an EMBO Short term fellow at Wageningen University & Research in June 2016 to August 2016. Marion joined Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg as a postdoctoral researcher from February 2016 to October 2019, where they focused on studying the morphogenesis of Arabidopsis thaliana lateral root and developed image analysis workflows using software tools.

Next, Marion worked with NEUBIAS as a member of Training and Outreach activities from October 2017 to November 2021. They co-organized international training schools in Bioimage Analysis and managed the NEUBIAS Academy @home webinar series. Marion then joined Institut Pasteur as an Application Specialist in December 2019 to November 2021, where they collected and translated customer requirements, participated in prospect identification, and contributed to quotation drafting.

Recently, Marion joined Opendatasoft in November 2021 and currently holds the position of Pre-sales Manager. They are responsible for structuring the pre-sales activity and collaborating cross-functionally with sales, product, and Go To Market teams. Marion's role also includes providing pre- and post-sales support, training sessions, data visualization development, and implementation of proof of concepts.

Marion Louveaux pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting in 2009. Marion completed their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Agronomie at L'Institut Agro Rennes-Angers from 2009 to 2012. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, they obtained a Master's degree in Plant Sciences from AgroParisTech. Marion then went on to earn their PhD in Biophysics and Developmental Biology from École normale supérieure de Lyon, which they completed between 2012 and 2015.
