Michael Gentili

Michael Gentili serves as Vice President of Engineering at Opendoor since August 2021, overseeing cloud infrastructure, IT engineering, operations, global security functions, and transaction and operations departments. Previous roles include Senior Director of Software Engineering at Opendoor, where Michael led the financial platform engineering group, and Chief Technology Officer at Skylight, responsible for all technical aspects. Michael's extensive experience at OANDA Corporation encompasses positions from Vice President of Engineering to various director roles, where management of personnel and budgets, service delivery, and system optimization were key responsibilities. Michael also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto and has lectured at the same institution.
