Rob Epstein

Robert E. Epstein, MD is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist specializing in Musculoskeletal Imaging and MRI. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Epstein serves as Chairman of the Board of University Radiology Group.

In this capacity, Dr. Epstein leads the second largest private radiology practice in the U.S., with over 1.8 million studies performed and interpreted each year at 9 major medical centers, 20 private imaging offices, and a client-driven teleradiology division, staffed by more than 140 radiologists.

Dr. Epstein received a dual BS & BA degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts & Sciences and The Wharton School of Finance and Commerce. He received his medical degree from Duke University.

Dr. Epstein maintains academic appointments at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Radiology and Orthopedics. He is the Director of Musculoskeletal Education for the Residents and medical students and has numerous teaching awards, publications and presentations in his field of expertise. He has been recognized many times as a “Top Doctor” in both New Jersey and New York.
