Gunther Stahl

Gunther Stahl has a wealth of experience in the field of application science. Gunther started their career at Tripos International in 2002 as an Application Scientist and continued in this role until 2005. From 2005 to 2008, they were promoted to Senior Application Scientist. Stahl then joined Accelrys in 2011 as a Lead Field Application Scientist. In 2012, they joined OpenEye, Cadence Molecular Sciences as a Senior Application Scientist and progressively advanced to the roles of Senior Director, Application Science and Head of Application Science. Currently, they serve as the Application Science Director at OpenEye, where they lead a global team of Application Scientists and assists customers in optimizing software tools.

Gunther Stahl completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelm University Bonn between the years 1992 and 1996. Gunther then pursued a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from the University of Düsseldorf, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
