Brian Pokluda, CPA, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Brian is currently working as the Vice President Finance at OpenFin since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director Finance for Thomson Reuters for over two years, from December 2019 to May 2022.

Before joining Thomson Reuters, Brian worked at McAfee for around 7 years in various finance management roles. Brian served as the Director of Capital and G&A Finance from August 2018 to December 2019, Finance Director for Worldwide Consumer Sales from April 2017 to August 2018, Senior Finance Manager for Corporate Products Strategy from July 2015 to April 2017, and Senior Finance Manager for FP&A Intel Security Group from July 2012 to July 2015.

Earlier in their career, Brian worked at American Airlines for 10 years, where they held several finance positions, including Director of Finance and Administration, Manager of Financial Planning and Consolidation, and Director of Financial Planning. Brian also worked at Dallas County and Broward County Government as a Financial Analyst in the Budget Office.

Brian Pokluda started their career as an Executive Director at Waste Watch and previously worked as a Financial Analyst in the County Manager's Office and Department of Environmental Resources Management at Miami-Dade County.

Brian Pokluda, CPA, MBA, has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Brian later pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Public Finance and Management at Texas Tech University, completing it from 1992 to 1994. Brian also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Arlington's College of Business, attending from 1998 to 2000.

In terms of certifications, Brian obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in March 2012. Brian also holds other certifications, including the title of Certified Fathom Advisor from Fathom, a Notary Public Commission from the State of Texas, and is an OKR Certified Coach from the Expert in the Outcome Mindset Method institution.
