Johnny Benson

Johnny Benson is the current Vice President of Product Engineering at OpenFin. Johnny has also worked as an engineer at /talk and Head of Engineering at Human Ventures. From January 2019 to March 2020, they were the Principal Engineer at Bravely, where they established engineering best practices and social norms with the team. Johnny also had the opportunity to architect Bravely's stable and scalable platform, including a form builder framework for iterative surveys capturing insights from employees and professional coaches about their bravely sessions, a RESTful API adhering to JSON API Spec with JSON Schema validations, and a brand new Pro app using React. The stack they used at Bravely included Ruby on Rails, React, Sidekiq, and Amazon AWS.

Johnny Benson received a BFA in multimedia from The University of the Arts.

They are on a team with Jessica Meiselman - General Counsel, Matt Harris - Director, and Scott Stafford - Head of European Operations. Johnny Benson reports to Mazy Dar, CEO.
