Sofía Barbosa has been working in the field of design since 2015 when they began their own business, Sofía Barbosa Illustration, as a Graphic Illustrator. In 2017, they worked as a Customer Service Representative for Netflix. In 2018, they were a Lead Administrative Assistant for The Fives Residences, Regional Manager for Save the Children Mexico, and Graphic Designer for Blind Spot Social Media. In 2019, they were a Buisness Owner for Serena Organics and Graphic Designer for 3idco 1magina | Google SEM, Expertos SEO, Redes Sociales Creativas, Branding, Diseño, Facebook Ads. In 2021, they were a Graphic Design Artist for mmasm. Finally, in 2022, they became a UX Designer for OpenForge and Head Graphic Designer for Leonora Estudio.

Sofía Barbosa attended the Universidad del Valle de México from 2018 to 2021, where they earned their Licenciatura in Diseño Gráfico.
