Colin McDonald

Colin McDonald is a seasoned professional in the telecommunications and engineering sectors, currently serving as Director of Engineering at Opengear since January 2019. Prior to this role, Colin was a Senior Product Owner at CSG, where responsibilities included collaborating with cross-functional teams and enhancing product features through user research. Colin also worked as a Telecommunications IT Consultant at Tele2, focusing on the design and implementation of Telecommunications BSS solutions across multiple countries, and spent over a decade as a Senior Solution Architect at Intec, delivering BSS solutions for over 20 global clients. Colin holds a BSc in Information Technology with Honours from the Limerick Institute of Technology, obtained between 1993 and 1997.
