Almis Udrys has a diverse and extensive work experience. Almis is currently working at OpenGov Inc. as the Senior Director of Professional Services, a role they assumed in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Professional Services at OpenGov Inc. from February 2021 to January 2023.
Before joining OpenGov Inc., Udrys worked as an Adjunct Professor of Public Policy at Pepperdine University from August 2021 to December 2022.

Udrys also has experience in the California State Assembly, where they worked as a Strategic Budget and Policy Advisor from December 2009 to March 2011. In this role, they formulated fiscal strategies, negotiated budget deals, and drafted legislation related to health care reform.
Prior to their work in the State Assembly, Udrys served as a Principal Health Policy Consultant from December 2005 to December 2009. Almis provided briefings on health policy issues, drafted bills, and participated in bipartisan efforts to improve access to health care.
Udrys began their career as a Senior Auditor Evaluator at the State of California from May 2003 to December 2005. Almis previously worked as an Auditor Evaluator at the Bureau of State Audits from September 2001 to April 2003.
In addition to their professional experience, Udrys worked as a Graduate Assistant at Pepperdine University from 1999 to 2001.
Almis Udrys attended Hillsdale College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Spanish. From 1999 to 2001, they pursued further education at Pepperdine University, completing a Master's degree in Public Policy.
