Ava Magnuson

Software Engineer I at OpenGov

Ava Magnuson has a diverse work experience. Ava started their career as a Cashier at Miller and Son's in 2016, where they gained strong skills in customer service and problem-solving. In 2018, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Mt. Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce, where they played a vital role in planning community events. In 2021, they took on multiple roles at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, including a Student Assistant and a Computer Science Grader. As a course assistant during the summer of 2021, they collaborated with other computer science majors to develop test cases. In 2022, Ava worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Cartegraph and is currently employed at OpenGov Inc. as a Software Engineer I.

Ava Magnuson attended Mt. Horeb High School from 2015 to 2019 and obtained a High School Diploma with no specified field of study. Ava then pursued a higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 2019 to 2022. During their time there, Ava earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Ava Magnuson obtained the Microsoft Office Specialist Master Certification (MOS) from Microsoft in January 2016.
