Mariia Kalinichenko

Mariia Kalinichenko has a strong background in software development and quality assurance. Mariia worked at OpenGov Inc. as a Software Development Engineer, starting in January 2020, and previously as a Software Developer in Test from December 2018 to December 2019. Before their time at OpenGov Inc., they worked at Strong SD as a RoR Developer and Test Automation Engineer from July 2018 to present. Prior to that, they were a QA Engineer at OpenGov Inc. from September 2016 to June 2018. Mariia has experience in writing UI acceptance tests, maintaining automated tests, and contributing to constant improvements in QA processes. Mariia is skilled in designing and developing automation frameworks for different software stacks.

Mariia Kalinichenko earned a Bachelor of Information Technology (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science from Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained various certifications, including an EF SET Certificate 75/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test in September 2020, a certification in Web Security (Same-Origin Policies) from LinkedIn in May 2020, and an ISTQB-Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from iSQI GmbH in May 2016.
