Matthew Helgerson

Matthew Helgerson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew most recently worked at OpenGov Inc. as a Lead Software Development Engineer in Test starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Lead Quality Engineer at Cognizant Softvision from February 2021 to September 2022. From April 2019 to February 2021, they served as a Lead Quality Engineer at Magenic. Before that, they worked at Optel Group as a Software Development Engineer in Test from November 2017 to April 2019. Matthew also has experience as an Automation Engineer Consultant at Magenic from April 2012 to November 2017, and as a Technical Support staff at University of Minnesota from September 2011 to April 2012. Matthew started their career at Menards as a Sales Associate from April 2005 to November 2011. Throughout their career, Matthew has developed expertise in software testing, automation, and customer service.

Matthew Helgerson earned a Technical Degree in Building Utility Mechanic from Rochester Community and Technical College, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Matthew then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota from 2009 to 2012.
