Colin Laflin

Colin Laflin has extensive work experience in the field of UX and product design. Colin is currently working as a Lead UX/Product Designer at OpenInvest and as a VP | Product Design Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Prior to these roles, they served as a Lead UX Designer at Dimensional Fund Advisors from January 2021 to July 2022 and as a Senior UX Designer from January 2020 to January 2021. Colin also worked as a User Experience Designer at the same company from August 2018 to January 2020.

Before their time at Dimensional Fund Advisors, Colin worked as a Product Design Consultant for their self-employed venture from May 2014 to August 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Product Designer (UX | Visual Design) at Aliya Financial Technologies from January 2016 to October 2016, where they played a crucial role in developing a user-centered platform.

Colin has also held various roles in design consulting, including being a Design Consultant and Project Creative Director for various clients from December 2014 to May 2016. Prior to that, they worked as an Experience Designer at BANG! Creative from September 2012 to December 2014. Colin began their career at Apple as a Mac Expert / SMB Accounts representative from August 2012 to August 2014.

Colin Laflin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of North Texas, attending from 2004 to 2008.
