Pier-Luc Parent has a diverse work experience in various industries. Pier-Luc started their career as an Investment Associate at Scotia McLeod Montreal in 2003. Pier-Luc then worked as a Sales Manager at Motosport Newman before joining the Secretaria de Seguridad Ciudadana in Mexico as a Consultant for a state reform in public security.
After that, Pier-Luc worked at Desjardins as a Commercial Account Manager, managing a portfolio of small and medium business accounts. Pier-Luc then joined Chrysler, where they held roles as a District Manager in Parts & Service, and later as an Area Manager, supervising sales districts and developing advertising strategies.

After that, they joined BRP and led strategic projects in Sales & Marketing, including developing global pricing strategies and supporting regional management teams.
In 2017, Pier-Luc became the Vice President of Global Sales at Julia Wine Group, responsible for the commercial operations and significant business growth in the U.S. Lastly, they currently hold the title of Senior Market Sales Director at OPENLANE, a role they have held since 2023, where they are responsible for overseeing market sales.
Pier-Luc Parent's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from HEC Montréal, a Specialized Graduate Diploma in Logistics from Université de Montréal - HEC Montréal, and attendance at the University of Deusto.
