Grant Owens

Grant Owens has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Grant is currently serving as the Chief Insurance Product Officer at Openly since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Willis Re as the Executive Vice President from May 2013 to May 2020. Grant began their insurance career at Liberty Mutual Insurance in June 2006 as an Actuary and worked there until April 2013.

Grant Owens obtained a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Grant then pursued an M.S. in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, they obtained the certifications of FCAS from the Casualty Actuarial Society in May 2011 and MAAA from the American Academy of Actuaries in May 2010.
