Nate Martin, CMA, CPA

Nate Martin, CMA, CPA has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Nate currently serves as the Manager of Financial Reporting & Controls at Openly. Prior to this, they worked at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group where they held the position of Operations Controller from October 2018 to September 2021.

Before joining Jewelers Mutual, Nate worked at Sentry Insurance in various roles. Nate started as an Accounting/Finance Intern focusing on Financial Analysis and Control in June 2013. Nate then interned in Reinsurance Accounting from May 2012 to August 2012. Following their internships, Nate served as an Accountant 1 in Statutory Accounting from June 2014 to March 2016 and then as Accountant 2 from March 2016 to September 2018.

Prior to their time at Sentry Insurance, Nate worked at the Menards Distribution Center as an Inventory Team Member from December 2010 to May 2013. Nate also gained experience in customer service as a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's Home Improvement from May 2009 to August 2010.

Nate Martin, CMA, CPA obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Comprehensive Accounting & Comprehensive Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Nate attended the university from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Nate also holds the certifications of Certified Management Accountant (obtained in May 2016 through the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants) and Certified Public Accountant (obtained in October 2015 from the State of Wisconsin).
