Richard Hudson

Richard Hudson has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2013 as a Communications Intern for Vote Rob Thomas Councillor for Waitemata & Gulf. Richard then became a Communications Manager at PwC New Zealand, where they led the production of major local publications and managed broader communication efforts. Richard also worked as a Business Writer at PwC, producing written content for various channels.

In 2014, Richard joined Castleford Content Marketing as a Content Writer, responsible for producing content for different clients. Richard later became a Senior Content Writer and led the business team, achieving monthly targets and maintaining strong client relationships.

Richard's next role was at Sharegain, where they served as a Communications and Content Manager from 2020 to 2021. Richard then joined Fintech Rewired as a Senior Content Manager in 2022. Currently, they are working at OpenPayd as the Head of PR and Communications.

Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in content management, communications, and PR. Richard has developed unified messaging frameworks, aligned content production with company objectives, and led content teams. Additionally, they have experience in social media management and research.

Richard Hudson has a diverse education history. Richard obtained a Graduate Diploma in Digital and Innovation from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Political Science and Government from The University of Auckland from 2012 to 2014. Their undergraduate education was completed at Victoria University of Wellington, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Richard also holds a certification in Google Analytics, which they obtained in October 2015.
