Ryan Lafayette has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ryan started their career in 2012 as a Quality Control Consultant at Nevro Corp, where they successfully converted trial documents into a digital database. In 2014, they worked as a 3D Lab Technician at San Jose State University, assisting and educating design students on project prototyping needs.

In 2015, Ryan interned as an Injection Molding Design Intern at Knightsbridge plastics Inc., where they generated 3D computer models and assisted in maintenance of in-use tooling. Ryan further expanded their skills in 2016 as a Design Research Intern at OhmniLabs, optimizing the implementation and system flow of multiple 3D printers for low-volume manufacturing needs.

Ryan joined SV Academy in 2017 as a Business Development Fellow, where they were selected in the top 8% of applicants for a competitive Business Development Fellowship. Ryan interned at Talend and was involved in prospecting leads and driving prospects to field marketing events. Ryan was trained in SVA's Conversational Selling Methodology and mentored by a high-performing CEO at Revity.

Ryan then worked as a Big Data Sales Development Representative at Qubole in 2017-2018, contributing to the company's cloud-native big data activation platform.

Ryan returned to OhmniLabs in 2018 as a Customer Success and Service Lead, where they excelled in ensuring client satisfaction and leading customer success initiatives. Ryan also took on the role of an Engineering Project Manager during this time.

In 2020, Ryan joined Openprise as a Customer Success Associate and was later promoted to Senior Customer Success Associate and then to Customer Success Manager in 2021. Ryan is responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring their success with Openprise's products and services.

Ryan Lafayette (He/Him/His) pursued their education in a chronological manner. Ryan completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial and Product Design at San Jose State University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, they obtained a Certificate of Completion in International and Intercultural Communication from Ohlone College.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan has also obtained several certifications. In June 2019, they acquired a certification in Sales: Customer Success from LinkedIn. Ryan also holds various certifications from Salesforce Trailhead, including Salesforce CPQ Basics (obtained in May 2017), Accounts & Contacts, CRM Basics, Data Quality, and Leads & Opportunities (all obtained in April 2017). Lastly, Ryan obtained a certification in Intercultural Communication from Ohlone College in November 2013.
