Brian Plackis Cheng

Brian Plackis Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Brian is currently the CEO of OpenRad, a company that provides innovative radiology solutions for diagnostic centers. Prior to this, Brian was the Chief Executive Officer at Careship, where they expanded the company across Germany and achieved rapid growth. Brian also founded cielo24, a video caption and metadata API company, and served as its CEO for several years. Additionally, Brian has held executive positions at Cogi, Inc., TrackR, and Blue Casa Communications, where they played various roles including CEO, BOD Member, COO, and CFO. Brian has also served as a Board Member at BeyondTrust. Earlier in their career, Brian was the General Manager at Openwave Systems and held a Senior Manager position at MCI Communications, where they managed large IT projects and implemented integrated messaging and email systems.

Brian Plackis Cheng earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, completing their education from 1985 to 1989.
