Theresa Masciale

Theresa Masciale has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Theresa worked as an Assistant Director of Content Development at OpenStax, Rice University, where they managed a group of interns and successfully implemented over 1500 open-ended assessments. Theresa also developed and updated Kindle digital products for the OpenStax library, collaborating with Amazon to meet organizational and Amazon's standards. Prior to this, they worked at HarperCollins Publishers as a Coordinator of Content Management, where they prepared manuscripts for transformation into various product versions and oversaw the progress of book interiors. Theresa also held roles at the Writing Center at University of Colorado Boulder, Bright Sky Press, The Rice Thresher, and the Center for Houston's Future, Inc.

Theresa Masciale has pursued a diverse education history with a focus on English and publishing. Theresa obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Rice University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. During their undergraduate studies, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Cambridge in 2013.

After completing their bachelor's degree, Theresa pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in English at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained a Publishing Certificate from the Denver Publishing Institute at the University of Denver.

Aside from their academic degrees, Theresa has also obtained certifications in Graphic Design from Boulder Digital Arts in October 2015.
