Brittany Bradford

Research Scientist at OpenStax

Brittany Bradford is a research scientist at OpenStax, Rice University, with extensive experience in educational research, focusing on student engagement with open-source textbook courseware. Since August 2020, Brittany has also held positions as a senior research analyst and postdoctoral research associate, where responsibilities include designing and analyzing data from long-term education studies and leading the authorship of publications. Prior to this, Brittany served as a graduate research assistant in Dr. Margaret Beier's Adult Skills and Knowledge lab at Rice University from August 2015 to July 2020 and contributed as a research assistant at Portland State University from March 2013 to May 2015. Brittany's earlier roles included asset management and financial planning at Diesslin Group, Inc. Brittany holds a PhD and an MA in Psychological Sciences from Rice University, a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Finance and French from Texas Christian University, and has completed post-baccalaureate studies in Psychology at Portland State University.
