Deborah Dahl

Deborah Dahl serves as the Senior Technical Advisor at the LF AI & Data Foundation, leading the Open Voice Interoperability Project to enhance interoperability among conversational assistants. With extensive experience in speech recognition and natural language processing, Deborah is the Principal at Conversational Technologies and has played pivotal roles as Program Co-Chair for the SpeechTEK Conference and as a member of the Board of Advisors for both Openstream Inc. and Yactraq Online Inc. Additionally, Deborah contributes to the Applied Voice Input/Output Society as a board member and has previously held advisory positions, including Senior Technical Advisor at the Open Voice Network. An accomplished academic, Deborah holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Minnesota and has advanced expertise that informs various multimodal standards and applications in the field.
