Federico Mena Quintero

Federico Mena Quintero has extensive experience in software engineering and open-source development, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Novell / SUSE Linux since 2003. In addition to this role, Federico contributes to the openSUSE Project as a GNOME hacker and has been a co-founder of the GNOME Project and GNOME Foundation since 1997, holding board member positions. Previous roles include working as a GNOME hacker at Ximian, Helix Code, and Red Hat from 1998 to 2002. Federico is also involved in Talleres Libres de Artes y Tecnologías as a Todólogo since 2010. Educational background includes studies at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México from 1995 to 1998.
