Colin Smith

Colin Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Colin is currently working at OpenSymmetry as a Sr. Principal Consultant, specializing in Insurance Sales Performance Management. Prior to this, Colin worked at AmeriHealth Caritas as a Manager, overseeing Medicare Systems, Reporting, and Analytics from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Manager at Independence Blue Cross, responsible for Sales Channel Onboarding & Contracting. Before that, Colin was a Supervisor at Independence Blue Cross, managing Agent Licensing & Credentialing from 2016 to 2018. Colin also worked as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst at Independence Blue Cross from 2012 to 2016. Colin started their career at Market Resource Partners as an Account Executive in 2009. Colin then joined MetLife Financial Services as a Financial Services Representative in 2008 and worked there until 2009. Colin's initial professional experience was as a Process Improvement Specialist at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics from 2006 to 2007.

Colin Smith holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Systems, obtained from Drexel University in the year 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Commerce and Engineering with a focus on Entrepreneurship at Drexel University between 2003 and 2008. In addition to their degrees, Colin also obtained two certifications. In November 2015, they achieved the Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Villanova University. More recently, in January 2020, they acquired the SILA - Associate certification from the SECURITIES & INSURANCE LICENSING ASSOCIATION INC.
