Sergii Lavrenchuk

Sergii Lavrenchuk has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Sergii currently works at OpenVPN Inc., where they hold the position of DevOps Team Lead since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at the same company starting from January 2019.

Before joining OpenVPN Inc., Sergii worked at Luxoft as a DevOps Engineer - Release Engineer from April 2015 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for automated and semi-automated deployment and configuration of product components, infrastructure support, and collaborating with QA and developer teams.

Earlier in their career, Sergii worked at IntroPro as a DevOps Engineer from April 2015 to February 2017. Their responsibilities included managing application servers and using various tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, and BitBucket.

Sergii's work experience also includes serving as the Head of IT department at NIVKI CITY GROUP from May 2011 to April 2015, and as the Lead Technical Consultant at Lawyer's union of Ukraine from February 2010 to September 2012.

Prior to that, Sergii held the role of Lead System Administrator at National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from October 2008 to August 2012, and as a Network and System Administrator at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from September 2005 to August 2011.

Throughout their career, Sergii has gained experience in various technologies and tools, including JIRA, Jenkins, BitBucket, GitLab, SVN, Nexus, RHEL, CliQr, Bash, Python, Ant, Maven, AppDynamics, Splunk, CFEngine, Ansible, VMware vSphere.

Sergii Lavrenchuk obtained their Master's degree in Computer Systems Analyst from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in the years 2005 to 2011. In addition, they earned the certification of Certified Jenkins Engineer from Linux Academy in January 2019.
