Assistant Conductor at Opéra National de Lyon

Michael Cobb is an experienced conductor currently serving as the Assistant Conductor at Opera National de Lyon and LONGBOROUGH FESTIVAL OPERA since November 2019. Notable achievements include the world premiere of "Shirine" by Thierry Escaich and working on Janacek's "The Cunning Little Vixen" under conductor Justin Brown. Previously, Michael held the position of Principal Conductor with Bristol Metropolitan Orchestra and Associate Conductor for Orchestra Vitae.
