Drew Billiau is an experienced lighting designer and production manager, currently serving in multiple roles at Opera Philadelphia since 2001, including Director of Design & Technology, Technical Production Manager, and Lighting Director/Resident Designer. Additionally, Drew has been the Lighting Designer and Production Manager for Ballet X since October 2008, focusing on lighting design for various projects and managing tours. Since 1995, Drew has also provided services as an Associate Designer for Fine Design Associates and operates as a freelance lighting designer for theater, ballet, opera, concerts, and events. Drew holds an MFA in Lighting Design from Temple University and a BA in Theater Arts/Lighting from the University of Iowa.
