Sarah Utermark is an accomplished professional in the mobile advertising industry with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Country Director at the Mobile Marketing Association since December 2017 and holding dual positions as Director of Brand and Global Partnerships and Director of Commercial Partnerships for South Africa at Opera since March 2020, Sarah has a strong background in driving marketing strategies and partnerships. Previously, Sarah was the CEO of Sub Saharan Africa at Opera Mediaworks (now AdColony) from December 2014 to May 2017, leading the first mobile ad platform for brands. As the Managing Director and Founder of AdVine from September 2010 to November 2014, Sarah established a pioneering mobile advertising sales agency and secured exclusive rights to represent Opera Mini across Africa. Earlier career roles include Business Development Director at Mira Networks and Sales Manager positions at Mobile Interactive Group and Leisurejobs.com. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and Marketing Management from the University of Gloucestershire.
