In March 2003, Operation Gratitude sent its first four care packages to deployed service members in Iraq. Since then, the nonprofit has successfully provided opportunities for millions of Americans to express their appreciation through hands-on volunteerism and has lifted the spirits of more than 3.3 million deployed troops, recruit graduates, veterans, military families, first responders, and healthcare heroes.

The Engagement and Volunteer Coordination team at Operation Gratitude works to mobilize and inspire volunteers across the nation to participate in meaningful service projects that support military and first responder communities. They create and manage volunteer opportunities, coordinate events, and foster relationships with corporate partners, ensuring that volunteers feel appreciated and connected to the cause. Through their efforts, the team enhances community engagement and strengthens the impact of the organization’s mission to express gratitude to those who serve and protect.
