Meredith Jones currently serves as the Chief Community Initiatives Officer at Operation Kindness, a position held since June 2022, where Meredith focuses on expanding community impact and providing support for pet owners and shelters. Meredith holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Duke University Graduate School and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from The University of Texas at Austin.

Operation Kindness

Our mission is to create a kinder world for pets and the people who love them by providing lifesaving care, innovative programs and community resources. Operation Kindness is a pioneer in Texas for assisting animals in need of veterinary care, companionship and most of all, a home. We operate a lifesaving animal shelter in Carrollton, TX.​ In addition to pet adoptions and lifesaving medical care, our programs provide foster care for vulnerable animals, resources for pet parents, affordable veterinary services for community pets, a pet food pantry and volunteer opportunities.
