Hector R. Giron

Hector R. Giron possesses extensive experience in veteran support and community leadership roles. As a member of the Board of Directors for Operation Turkey since August 2017 and Service Platoon Leader for The Mission Continues since October 2015, Hector leads initiatives that engage veterans and community volunteers. With a background as a Certified Peer Mentor for the Wounded Warrior Project since December 2011, Hector facilitates peer support for warriors in recovery. Additional roles include Chairman for the 99th VFW State Convention in Texas and various positions within the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Hector's military service as an Aviation Ordnanceman in the US Navy from December 2005 to November 2009 is complemented by an educational background in Communications from the University of Houston-Downtown and an Associate of Arts from Lone Star College System.
