Hanna Koskimies has extensive experience in the field of art and cultural policy. Currently serving as a Senior Ministerial Adviser at the Ministry of Education & Culture since September 2017, Hanna specializes in basic education in the arts, focusing on funding and development at the national level. Previously, Hanna held the position of Vice Principal and Development Director at Espoon kuvataidekoulu from August 2012 to August 2017, contributing to an art school catering to approximately 1300 students aged 5 to 20. Earlier experiences include partnering as a Designer and CEO at Selki Fabrik Oy, a design company in Southern Finland, and working as an art educator at Espoon kuvataidekoulu, teaching various courses in visual arts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Textile Art & Design from Aalto University and a Master of Arts in Art Education from the University of Lapland. Additional studies occurred at Opetushallitus and Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu.
