Shoouyu Tang is a physicist with extensive experience in optical systems and reliability engineering. Currently employed at Ophir Corporation since March 2015, Shoouyu specializes in optical air data systems, laser technology, and Lidar, contributing to projects at Lightridge Solutions. Previous roles include product and application engineer at Corning Incorporated, where support was provided for advanced glass applications, and roles as a reliability engineer with both Pro-Unlimited and Corning. As a senior research scientist at Corning, project management for reliability in R&D was a focus, alongside experience in laser processing. Earlier positions include optical physicist at Ophir Corporation, reliability engineer at Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard, and a postdoctoral role in biochemistry at Colorado State University, where Shoouyu developed ultra-fast laser systems for advanced research. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and MS in Physics from Colorado State University and a BS in Physics from National Tsing Hua University.
