Sophia Pathai MD, PhD, MSc is currently the Vice President Medicine at Hevolution Foundation, where Sophia leads the Medical Division and oversees ambitious projects to deliver healthspan services. Sophia is also a Podcast Host at Ophthalmology Innovation Source and a Member at Global Women in VC. With a background in clinical development, ophthalmology, and medical affairs, Sophia has held positions at companies such as Peppermint Venture Partners, Santen, Johnson & Johnson Vision, AbbVie, and Roche. Sophia has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Epidemiology/Infectious diseases/Immunology, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and a Master's degree in Epidemiology, among other qualifications.
