Gabe Deforest

Gabe DeForest is an experienced Architect currently employed at OPN Architects since March 2019. Previous roles include Architect at Wells + Associates from June 2013 to March 2019 and Assistant Architect at Burns & McDonnell in 2010-2011, where responsibilities encompassed construction documentation for both residential and commercial properties internationally and architectural design development for the Heart of Doha Project in Qatar. Gabe's foundational experience includes serving as Building Manager at Kansas State University, overseeing operations of a large facility, and as a Student Coordinator handling financial and inventory management at the Kansas State Student Union. Additional experience includes an internship at HTK Architects and a laborer role at AHRS Construction, highlighting a well-rounded background in architecture and construction. Gabe holds a Master of Architecture degree from Kansas State University, earned in 2010.
