Laura Domigan

Laura Domigan is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Opo Bio, a commercial B2B supplier of livestock cells to the cultivated meat industry. Prior to this role, Laura worked as a Senior Lecturer at The University of Auckland in the field of Chemical and Materials Engineering. Laura also held positions as a Lecturer in Biochemistry and as a Research Fellow focusing on protein biomaterials. Before their time at The University of Auckland, Laura was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Tufts University. Laura holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from the University of Canterbury, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Biochemistry from the same institution.
