Derrick Garrett

Derrick Garrett is a seasoned information technology professional with extensive experience in managing teams and overseeing production support for business applications. Currently serving as Senior Director of Information Technology, Infrastructure at Oppenheimer & Co. since February 2010, Derrick leads a team providing 24x7 support for global clients. Previous roles include Director at Oppenheimer & Co., where responsibilities encompassed database management and integration of compliance software, and Senior Oracle Database Administrator at the same organization, overseeing multiple Oracle application databases. Additional experience includes technical leadership at Barnes & Noble, project management and development at Spectra Securities Software, and various engineering positions at Architel Systems, Cel-Tech Systems, and Bell Communications Research Laboratories.
