Theo Kalionzes

Theo Kalionzes is a Senior Advisor at the Oppenheimer Project as of April 2024, focusing on strategic direction in climate, nuclear, and technology policy. Previous experience includes serving as a Nonresident Fellow at The Stimson Center and holding multiple roles at the MacArthur Foundation from 2015 to June 2023, including Senior Program Officer and Program Officer. Prior positions include Program Assistant at Carnegie Corporation of New York and Consultant and Speechwriter at the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). Theo's early career features work as an External Relations Intern at CTBTO and Graduate Research Assistant at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, along with an internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and experience as a Substitute Teacher.
