Joanna Estrella

Joanna Estrella has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Joanna is currently the Director of Customer Success at OppFi, where they oversee customer satisfaction and retention. Prior to this role, Joanna was the Loan Advocate Manager at OppFi, responsible for managing and advocating for loan applicants.

Before joining OppFi, Joanna worked at AYALA PROPERTIES LLC as a Portfolio Manager, where they supervised the design and construction of various projects in Chicago. Joanna also played a significant role in developing a healthcare center for an underserved community.

From 2013 to 2020, Joanna held multiple roles at Fay Servicing, LLC. As the VP of Loss Mitigation, they coached and developed employees while leading the quality operations of loss mitigation teams. Joanna also worked as the AVP Servicing Manager, overseeing collections, customer service, and loss mitigation activities. In their role as a Senior Account Manager, they negotiated with distressed mortgagers and evaluated risks to create custom work-out plans.

Earlier in their career, Joanna served as the Director of Accounting at Fast Freight Transportation / Critical Expedite, where they managed the daily operations of the accounting department. Joanna also founded and managed a retail store called Little Poland, where they handled budget planning, financial management, and employee management.

Joanna began their career as an Account Executive at Countrywide Home Loans, developing loan options and counseling clients on credit and money management. Joanna also co-founded Family Euro Deli, where they managed day-to-day operations and supervised a staff of 16 employees in three departments.

Overall, Joanna Estrella has extensive experience in customer success, portfolio management, loss mitigation, accounting, retail, and finance.

Joanna Estrella received a degree in Clinical Massage Therapy from Soma Institute in 2008. Joanna also pursued Business Administration and Management at Harper College from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, Joanna obtained several certifications, including A Guide to ERGs, Succeeding in a New Role By Managing Up, The Coaching Habit, The Leader's Guide to Mindfulness, Train the Trainer Virtual, and Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification.
