Yashna Smart

Yashna Smart has a diverse background in various roles. Yashna started their career at St Margaret's C of E Junior School in 2016 as a Class Teacher, teaching various subjects across the National Curriculum and leading extracurricular activities for disadvantaged pupils.

In 2019, Yashna joined Premier Advisory Group (PAG) as a Junior Consultant, conducting quantitative and qualitative social research, interviewing clients and stakeholders, and assisting with workshops and focus groups. Yashna also supported the pre-opening of free schools and academy conversions.

Within PAG, Yashna progressed to the role of Consultant in 2021. In this role, they became a lead consultant for various projects, including local authority presumption competitions, trust capacity funding, internal tenders, and childcare sufficiency assessments. Yashna also supported strategic trust growth projects and project managed the pre-opening of free schools.

Most recently, Yashna joined Opportuni in 2023 as a Bid Manager. Further details about their responsibilities in this role are not provided.

Yashna Smart received their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Liverpool between 2012 and 2015. In 2016, they pursued a PGCE in Primary Education (Teach First) at Canterbury Christ Church University, which they completed in 2017.
