Danica Sessions has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2015. In 2011, they were a Graduate Student at the University of North Texas and an Education Intern at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. In 2012, they were an Assistant Archivist (Temporary) at Crowl & Associates, PLLC, a Graduate Assistant/Processing Technician at the Baylor University Institute for Oral History, and a Graduate Archival Assistant at the Confederate Reunion Grounds, Texas Historical Commission. From 2013 to 2015, they held multiple roles at various organizations, including Curator at the Scurry County Museum, Keyboard Specialist at the Otsego County Economic Development Department, Outreach Educator at Hanford Mills Museum, Inc. at East Meredith, and Community Advocate at Opportunities For Otsego Inc.

Danica Sessions began their educational journey in 2007 when they earned their Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in French from the University of North Texas. Danica then went on to complete their Master of Arts in Museum Studies from Baylor University in 2013. In 2015, they returned to the University of North Texas to earn their Post-Baccalaureate Secondary Online Teacher Certification in History (7-12).
