Caroline Valvardi

Vice President, Marketing at Opportunity Finance Network

Caroline Valvardi's work experience began in 2010 as an Intake/Outreach Worker at Covenant House, where they provided assistance to homeless youth and educated stakeholders about the organization. In 2012, they worked as a Philadelphia Youth Sports Collaborative (PYSC) Work-Study Intern at the Out-of-School Time Resource Center. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the Program Director, Capital Corporation at The Enterprise Center, managing a community development financial institution program for small minority and women-owned enterprises. In 2016, they joined Meed as a Digital Marketing Manager, where they helped build and manage the company's social media platforms and directed collaboration between marketing and website development teams. Starting in 2017, Caroline worked as a Freelance Writer & Consultant, composing and editing various content for clients, including speeches, blog articles, and marketing emails. Additionally, they supported professional athlete client relations and event planning at Champions for Philanthropy. Recently, in 2019, they joined Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) as a Senior Associate, Strategic Communications, leading and supporting activities to engage and inform stakeholders about community development financial institutions. In November 2021, they took on the role of Vice President, Marketing at OFN.

Caroline Valvardi obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Political Economy from Fordham University, where they studied between 2006 and 2010. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Social Policy from the University of Pennsylvania from 2012 to 2013.
